Wow, it's been a wild ride! Over the last three years author Ken Hull has logged thousands of miles on The Mighty Steed (his '94 Harley) once again exploring the back roads and byways of central PA to find you all new places to eat, drink, and be merry. I'm getting an Intern! (I hope)
04.10.09
Have you seen the Seinfeld episode where Kramer gets an intern for “Kramerica”? Well, hopefully with the help of two great local institutions I will get some desperately needed help. At PSU Bob Martin, Assistant Dean of Career Placement and Internships in the College of Communications and his assistant and my awesome neighbor Stephanie, along with Meg Handley, Program Developer for Career and Corporate Services and Adroa Way, both at Smeal Business College will be helping me. Then also South Hills Business School will be assisting me in getting an intern in three possible areas of study. Writing two books and publishing them is a task I knew would be a killer, but had no idea how killer.
If this works out, I will have a PSU/South Hills Business School student or students to help me with all the publishing tasks, as well as marketing, sales, and distribution so I can focus on my writing. Not only that, but how cool will it be to have someone follow me around with a pad and pencil and schedule lunch dates for me! Kidding, that’s from Seinfeld. I will be very grateful for the help and hope that both me and the intern/s will make out (not kissing make out – success make out - geez).
Stay tuned for the “Quest for an Intern!”
